Letters to My Son, Day 2 in Two Parts

Today's letter is about Thanksgiving traditions and how I felt experiencing a holiday celebration without my eldest child for the first time. I also decided to go back to the BASICS (see what I did there?) with my grandma's yam and apple casserole recipe this year.
